Meet Our Team
Dr. Bobby Aminpour, DDS
Dr. Aminpour graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. He pursued his interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Woodhull Medical Center in New York. After completing the six-year residency program, he continued his education with a one-year fellowship in Orthognathic surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Aminpour has been performing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1997. He is highly qualified to perform several major and minor oral surgical procedures including dental implants, bone grafting, third molar extractions, facial reconstructive surgery, corrective jaw surgery, and biopsies.
Dr. Aminpour is a member of:

Dr. Gordon Fong, DDS
Dr. Gordon Fong received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in 1982 and received his DDS from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1986. His personal interests include exercise and fitness, martial arts, and motorcycles.
"I believe today's optimum dental care requires doctor-patient cooperation. The patient's input and understanding are vital for long lasting dental health. The patient and doctor must work together to achieve the desired results for optimum dental health, aesthetics, and longevity. Both in the office and outside the office, the patient must play an active role to achieve overall dental health."
Dr. Janice Fukushima, DDS
Dr. Janice Fukushima was born in Los Angeles in 1959. She received her BS from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1980 and her DDS from the University of California at San Francisco in 1985. She is married and has three children. Dr. Fukushima is an active member of the Adoption Support Group of West Los Angeles and is a trained pastry chef. She has been a member of our staff since 1987.
"I try to make each patient as comfortable as possible. I enjoy relating to the patient one-on-one."
Dr. Mark Kahn, DDS
Dr. Mark Kahn received a BA in Psychology from UCLA in 1971 and received his DDS from the University of Southern California in 1976, graduating with high honors (OKU). He was born in Chicago in 1948 and moved to Los Angeles in 1953. He is married and has two children. Dr. Kahn’s hobbies include skiing, road bicycling, reading, and going to movies.
"I believe that patient education is the key to good oral health. To that end, I hope that each of my patients learns that one's personal habits and oral hygiene procedures determines the health of their mouth."
Dr. Kahn is a member of the following organizations:

- The American Association of Dental Consultants
He is also a consultant for Wellpoint Dental Services.
Dr. H. Estelle Liou, DDS
Dr. Liou is our pediatric dentist (a specialist who treats kids). She received her DDS degree from Taipei Medical College in 1994, completed her pediatric dental residency from Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in 1997, and received her post-doctoral certification of pediatric dentistry from the University of Southern California in 2000 along with the best research award.
Dr. Liou is a member of:

- American Association of Pediatric Dentistry
She is also an American Board of Pediatric Dentistry certified children’s specialist.

Dr. Darren Smolkin, DDS
Dr. Darren Smolkin received his undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He received his DDS from McGill University and his graduate training in Endodontics (root canal therapy) from the University of Southern California in 1997. Dr. Smolkin’s goal is "to provide the highest quality of pain-free dental treatment." Dr. Smolkin uses the latest advances in technology when performing root canal therapy, which allows treatment to be more predictable and completed in less time.
Dr. Daniel Teboul, DDS
Dr. Daniel Teboul completed his dental degree at the University of Paris in France and his Advanced Periodontics training at the University of Southern California. He held a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor, Periodontology Department, at the University of Southern California and is a member of the American Association of Periodontology, the California Society of Periodontology, and Alpha Omega.
With care and expertise, Dr. Teboul is dedicated to providing the best possible treatment for your dental needs using scientifically established techniques and materials.
Nancy Gaffney, RDH, BS
Nancy received her BS in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern California in 1995. She loves dentistry and is very understanding of patients' problems and concerns.
“I'm very pain conscious and use calming techniques for maximum comfort. I will explain all aspects of dentistry that my patients do not understand."
Nancy’s hobbies are gardening, biking, and travel. Nancy also loves animals, especially cats.
Louise Villareal, RDH
Louise graduated with an AA in Dental Hygiene in 1994. Prior to choosing dental hygiene as a career, she studied business and worked for Catalina Cruises and Catalina Express. She also took the time to do some traveling.
Her hygiene experience includes working for the Coast Guard, treating children, and working in a periodontal office.
Louise loves her job because she enjoys meeting other people and their families – and especially their kids! She loves the willingness children have to try something new.
Outside of work, Louise enjoys spending time in the pool or the ocean, playing water polo, sailing, surfing… anything to do with water!
Renee White, RDH
Born and raised in a small town in Southern New Jersey, Renee received her AA in Dental Hygiene from Temple University. In addition to her work as a hygienist, Renee is also interested in elevating the interests of students in time and money management prior to high school graduation. She enjoys reading (when time permits!) and doing fun things with her children and their friends.
